We take pride in our work and want our customers to feel confident putting our products to use. That’s why each product we make is guaranteed for the life of its original owner. If your gear breaks, we will repair it, replace it, or refund it.

Details:

Faults in construction or craftsmanship: If your gear breaks from regular use as a result of a flaw in its construction, we will replace your gear, free of charge, with the same make and model (depending on availability). To request a replacement or a refund for a defective product, click here.

Accidents and Damage: If your gear is damaged beyond repair from abuse, exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, or impacts (like being dropped or stepped on), we will provide a one-time replacement of the same make and model (depending on availability) at a 50% discount, or a discount of up to 25% on another product in the Shop. To request a discounted one-time replacement, click here.

Modifications and Abuse: Gear that has been destructively modified or intentionally abused is not eligible for a replacement or refund. 

Lost items: Our guarantee doesn’t cover lost or stolen gear, but replacement cork and tackle kits are available - simply cover the shipping costs. Click here to order a replacement cork and tackle kit.

Wrong Items Shipped/Missing Items: If the items shipped do not match your order, we’ll replace the items with the correct one, free of charge. Click here if the wrong items were shipped to you. Note that orders of multiple items may arrive in separate packages; please ensure you’ve received all packages before submitting a request.

Cancellations or Returns for Any Other Reason

Here are the details of the returns we accept:

Before Shipping:

• Orders can be cancelled before an order has been shipped, which is typically within 1 business day of ordering but can vary based on item availability. Email us with your order number (or reply to your confirmation email) with “CANCEL ORDER” in the subject line, and we will process a refund request.

Within 30 Days of Shipping:

Go to myorders.daggerfishgear.com and enter with the email address used to purchase your order. You will be emailed an access code; enter this code to view your order history and select the item you wish to return.

Click "Request Return" and select the items in your order you wish to return, along with the reason for your return.

  We recommend shipping via USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail and ensuring you get a tracking number. Please write your order number on the package or include it on a note inside. 
  
  

• Used items can be returned for store credit with 30 days of shipping, following the same mailing instructions as above. Store credit will be issued via a digital gift card code for the original purchase amount, less shipping. 

We are unable to accept returns of non-defective products more than 30 days after shipping. 

Method of Refund

Refunds for unused products are returned to the same form of payment used to purchase. Refunds for used products are issued as store credit via a digital gift card code. Please allow 7-14 business days for your refund to be processed.
