Leather Reel Cover

This leather handreel cover protects the line on your Daggerfish hand fishing reel while it's in your pack, keeping your line from getting tangled or abraded. Handmade in the USA from full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, these covers are a highly recommended add-on.

When you're done fishing for the day, here's how it works:

• Cut off the terminal tackle
• Place the handreel cover at the top of your reel
• Wrap the line twice around the reel
• Secure the line with an overhand bow knot

This setup allows you to safely store the reel in your gear. To protect the wood, line, and corks, make sure the reel is dry before long-term storage.
