Where to Buy a Fishing License (in Every State)

New to fishing, or looking to take a trip to another state? This list below will direct you to resources to buy a fishing license in every US State.

Note that in some states, you can purchase a license completely online; in others, you may need to find a license retailer. And be sure to check for restrictions on where, when, and how you can fish in each area before you go. Don't be intimidated to ask for some guidance if you need it - these departments exist to protect our natural resources so that we can enjoy them, and they're there to help you.
