A mitten scissor clamp is the perfect multi-tool for fly fishing, spin fishing, or hand line fishing. It combines stainless steel forceps with a pair of surgical-grade scissors and is easy to operate with just one hand.

Mitten scissor clamps can be used to remove hooks from fish, crimp barbs or squeeze split shot, cut line, clear hook eyelets, and a variety of other uses. And because of the spring-loaded design, they're easy to use with one hand (even while wearing heavy gloves).

Excellent tool

Mixed feelings

The mitten scissors are tight, likely will last a lifetime. However I hope they loosen up with use. Need both hands to open them.. the included sheath holds them nicely, but is a little light. I'd have definitely used thicker leather.

Why can't we find more things like this?

For the cost, this quality is transcendent. I remember when metal used to be forged this good. This is a lifetime-tool. Unbelievably thrilled!
